The Destrier Collection
A destrier is a warhorse known for carrying knights in battles. Their flashy coats and strong build made them ideal for jousts and tournaments. The Destrier collection aims to bring medieval style tack into the modern war for reinactments and costumes. Barding is used to describe cloth or leather used for decoration on the horse. These pieces go over the horse's rump and against the horse's chest.
